Called Sony customer service and they said it could take 3 to 5 weeks. Hopefullly it goes as fast for me as it did for you !
I also have extended warranty with Future shop (Best buy) but since they don't have the Tv in stock anymore I don't know if it will go faster through them !

I found someone who fixed their PS3 3D Display (maybe a week or two ago) and I'm having trouble finding it, google isn't finding it.... Their fix was replacing or cleaning the fan
This problem literally just happend to me 30 min ago, but I tried seraph's method too, and it worked. For anybody who needs a refresher, just quickly mash the power button on the back of the monitor. I did this for a few minutes and it suddenly blinked back to life. So anyone still having this problem, try mashing the button for a few minutes and see if it works for you.

Tried all the ideas here (Power button mashing, Power + Menu button holding, Power + 3D button holding, Unplug everything....)

So I got my a new display from Sony. The service was really fast with a 5 days turnover. I noticed that the new monitor has an October 2011 build date unlike my original set that had a September build date.
Is it true that the October units last longer than the previous ones like some people suggested ?
After using my replacement display for less than a week it stopped working yesterday 😡
Same pattern as before with the display light turning blue thank yellow than blinking red 2 times a cycle.
Is it even worth contacting them to send me another one if a get another lemon that barely lasts more than a week ❓
