thanks to aiking the list just got a lil bit bigger(most of them i already have)
80710102 DNS Error Most of the time this error can be resolved by simply, with resetting the network settings.
internet. Go to your router settings via computer, and open ports
At this point im thinking this is a HW SW or FW issue. its the only thing i can think of. becuase the disk is imaculate, no scratches, i clean all disks before i play them. i think this is SW HW FW issue also because i have about 30 or so BD movies on my shelves and have not had any issues with any of them, no issues with mail order BD's either, AND this one plays to a certain point but at the same time gives the error message.
So SONY,, WHAT GIVES????? "we the people" would like to know what the issue is and if there is a fix in the works, dont GIVE the XBboys ammunition to use against you and us please. keep us informed in our PSNetwork emails about issues like this, for the $$$ we throw down i think its the least we deserve.
Just got this error trying to watch 'i, robot', and got it last night watching the john mayer BD. also during the john mayer, it locked up during one of the songs a couple of times, before i upgraded to 2.41 it worked fine. i was able to launch 'i, robot' last night, and the menu was jumping like i was trying to play a racing game on a 386. what gives?
edit: after rebooting the machine, it gave me the error again, then loaded the movie, played just fine up until 1:26:00, then started skipping, then stopped while searching for a point where it would work again. the only thing i haven't tried is reformatting the HD, which i'm putting off until i get a 500gb, which is looking like is going to be pretty soon. stupid $600 pieces of crap. or i could just blame 2.4
