Do you think that they will get sucked into making games for X-Box too? I hope not. It is one of the only game companies out there that are only exclusive to Playstation....

I hope SquareSoft sticks to SONY. If they make games for other consoles, the PS2 might not be the best nemore. Message boards like this might become obsolete. I might have nothing to do. MY WORLD WOULD END!!!! Or maybe not. Who knows???

This is virtualy IMPOSSIBLE. Square doesnt like to make U.S> based games. They have said that they want Japan to be there main market. So, what this means is that they console they program on, must have a very high user base in Japan- and well lets just say that the xbox sank like a rock there... To add insult to injury Microsoft already pitched to "buy" some games to make xbox only titles when the xbox was released- This offended them BIG TIME.. So that makes there chances even worse.. Also , dont forget that Sony now owns a good 20% of the company. Soo , dont worry bout that.. Never happenin!

I'm pretty sure SquareSoft(now squarenix) remembers the sales they got from PS1's FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX, and PS2's FFX.

,

When they released Final Fantasy X to the world they were selling it to 50,000,000 PS2 owners not the meesly 4, 500,000 Xbox owners or the 1, 263, 090 GameCube owners.

I don't think so, but I would not see a problem with that. The new FF for GC looks good, so a Xbox FF could be just as good if not better.

Most likely MS can just offer them lots of cash, I'd love to see FFXII on xbox that game would look insane with the xbox graphics power and in full 5.1DD during gameplay.
