Best way to clean a PS2 disc?

10 replies 22490 views Edited Mar 20, 2008

I don't have a special CD cleaner, and I heard water is the worst thing you can clean your discs with, so what can I use to clean a PS2 disc? My Vice City disc works, but it freezes up every now and then and I have to wait 2-3 minutes before it unfreezes itself.

Thanks.

Some Rubbing Alcohol, n' a cloth rag.

Usually does the trick.

Try cleaning your lens, as well.

With a lens cleaning disk.:smileytongue:

I've always cleaned mine off with water and using a tissue to dry the disc.

Works fine for me.

This is a good tip, as no cleaners are used and it is very non-abrasive.
