playstation television black and white???

i plugged in my ps2 to my playstation using the 3 color cables and the screen is black and white. ive switched out the cords but i havent tried another system. why is it black and white??

Recheck your wires and the jacks on the television. Make sure everything is correct. Also, make sure that the Input of your television is on Game or Channel 3 or 4. Play around with yor settings.
