My power brick fell and hit tile floor

3 replies 342 views Edited Jun 28, 2011

As I was moving my slim ps2 to another location, the power brick portion fell from the top of a tv stand and hit tile floor. It looks like the ps2 slim can still be powered on. Will this affect gameplay later on?

I don't think it would outside of random power surges.

just wondering, as I dont know if the brick has any sensitive wires inside that are prone to damage from a huge shock such as a fall

hmm... interesting. Apparently the ac adaptor that fell was one of the recalled adaptors. Not that Sony will replace it for free as the recall was 6 years ago. Do you think they will sell replacements?
