Hot n Cold Platinum Club

I got my first platinum club trophy today when I got platinum on painful clown toss. Now the only mode I havent hit the ninja in is Hot n Cold Platinum Club. Does anyone have any tips on how to get platinum on painful? I can barely get 4 target bears and I need 8.

I am experiencing the same difficulties in trying to get platinum in hot n cold. did you ever manage to do it? if so, how? i'm really having a hard time with this one!
