Re: PSP Touch Screen concept model...

Mar 24, 2010

This concept is my favorite, as it moves away from the conventional handheld design in a new way. The screen could be fragile, but, to me, it is aesthetically pleasing.

Seems to me that it would be too easy to push in the buttons back under the screen while playing.

It would lock of course.  Looks ugly to me though.

It would have to be a pretty solid lock, plus it looks really uncomfortable.

Oh well, not like it's real anyways, I hope whatever Sony comes up with is more portable than the PSP and doesn't hurt my hands.

The pic of the slide up screen with the L1, L2, R1, R2 buttons on the side would suck. Try playing with your fingers pointing straight up.....HURTS!!!!!... That is the worst design ever. They need to adapt a style like the PSP-3000 with dual analog sticks, and L1, L2, R1, R2 setup. I wouldn't mind the extra thickness as I don't carry my PSP in my pocket (who does? you're asking for a scratched screen!).

Because obviously every game will ignore the buttons and analog sticks and just use the touchscreen. And yeah...everything sometimes breaks, and I don't seem to hear widespread iTouch and iPhone screens breaking.
