have all the psp game servers gone down? i havent been able to connect to a single one in a long time

Not all of them, but almost all of them.   Most PSP games were released years ago.  Even popular online games are usually supported with servers for only 5 years or so.  Unpopular online games are usually supported with servers for only 1 year, or even less.
