Can anyone tell me when can we proud psp owners can expect the next update to be released I am just curious just like everyone else out there

I think I'd rather not know so that when it finally does come, it will be a surprise instead of me anticipating it for several months.

I don't think you will ever see another update - the current generation PSP device is on its last legs (or dead depending on your point of view) and Sony's attention is shifting to the next-generation of the PSP device. With their attention paid to a new device, there's not much insenstive to work on providing updates/new features and so forth to the existing device. At best, I think the only "upgrades" you will see are continued security fixes. But as for anything new and worthwhile - those days are long gone.

I think it could be in November because that's when a lot of stuff is going to be released

We're not sure anymore If Sony is gonna release another update. As of now, Hardware on the PSP might not handle the new Software. So its time to move on to another generation of the PSP. We would expect a PSP 2 or so.

See the main reason why Sony is been lacking System Updates for the PSP is because the developers are having a hard time to program new Software for it. Think about it, do you expect old hardware to handle new Software? no. it would be unusable!

As of now, I rather wait for a new PSP. No remakes or anything, a fresh new system

true that. Its 2010 com'on! The PSP's Hardware is from 2005. Time to move on Sony
