I have a PSP Go, up to date running 6.60.
I have Media Go installed, running the most recent version (forgive my memory, but I clicked up date and it did say I was up to date).
I bought FFVI and Tactics Ogre. Downloaded both, tried to install and got an error:
Deleted downloaded files (in case of issue), re downloaded, same error. (three times for each file)
Tried installing one at a time, no go.
Tried disconnecting and reconnecting my system. Also, no go.
I just got interested adn decided to try a music file instead... NO problem. Moved over to PSP just fine.
When trying to install a game, it says "Transferring 1 file 0/0% for about 15 seconds then the red bar appears at the bottom saying "An error occurred during the install operation (80070057)" I am at work and the PEAP encryption doesn't allow me to use the wifi here with my Go, and I tried Starbucks, but there thing where you have to authenticate by opening a page makes that impossible. Whn I get home I plan to try over wifi, but I'd really like to be able to use USB for this. Any thoughts?

When did this problem start? Have you been able to install games to this PSP Go from Media Go before, or are you using Media Go for the first time?

I was able to in the past. I haven't installed anything new in at least 2 years, though and this is a fresh install of media go. I feel like I had issues in the past. Is it common that media go just says "nope."?

No, it isn't common at all. I would say that there is a problem with the installation of Media Go.

I'd say you're correct... later that evening, I went home and installed media go on my home machine (running Windows 8... I thought I'd be dead in the water) and it worked beautifully. I have a ps3 also which was my other fall back, but I guess I need to reinstall at work. Curiouser and Curiouser.
