MY PSP WON'T READ UMD.

The laser and spinning circle is ok...but my psp won't read the UMD. What I can do?

Do you have this problem with all UMDs, or just a particular one?  If it is all UMDs, then send the PSP in for repair service.  It won't fix itself, and it is almost certainly a hardware problem.   If it is just one particular UMD, then the UMD may have been damaged by being left somewhere that was too hot.

I say check the UMD I had one that wouldn't read it seems someone covered the disc in fingerprints. Once I cleaned it off it worked.

Whats the best way to clean the UMD without damaging it? My neighbors kids each have a PSP, the girl just got hers a week ago. The boy has Little Big Planet and has played it on his but the girl tried to play it on hers last night and it wouldn't read. I tried it in his and it wouldn't read there anymore either. All of their other games play in both machines, that one is the only one that will not read but It worked before.
