I have used psp video 9, and converted the video but when i try to transfer it to the psp it gives me an error. I have even downloaded videos from the official psp site. Re: Guide: How to get movies on your psp

1. Make sure the .MP4 at the end of the movie files title is capitalized.
2. Make sure you have enough space on your memory stick for the file.
3. Make sure that the movie is in the correct format (MP4 or AVC)
4. You might want to try a different converter.
Tell me if any other problems still occur.

Still the same. I used the 3GP Converter. When I try to go to the video on my psp it says that there is no video.

Re: Guide: How to get music, photos and movies on your psp.

Me too.  My memory stick (the original 32 MB that came with the PSP) has a PSP folder.  Under that folder are Game, Photo, Music, System, and Savedata folders.  I added MP_ROOT folder under the PSP folder and under that I added a 100MVN01 folder.  I put the spiderman trailer downloaded from the Sony PSP website (with a .MP4 file extension) into the 100MVN01 folder and it does not come up on the PSP, but it does show up when connected to the USB.  I tried moving the MP_ROOT folder to the same heiarchy as PSP, but it still doesn't show.  What am I doing wrong?

Re: Guide: How to get music, and movies on your psp.[Now with 2.00 formats]

I am actually having the same problem. I have the folder created but when I put the video in the PSP does not see it.
,I have 2 folders under the mp_root. One that I created,100MVN01, and one that the PSP video9 created,100anv01.
,any suggestions would be great

I figured out a backdoor method to fix the problem;  Go to http://www.sonypictures.com/psp/

,

Download any clip.  When you do that, you will download an .exe file.  The .exe file will create the directories that you need and load the clip!  Now you have the correct directories to view video.
