I just heard on Playstationlifestyle.net that the possibilty of trophies on PSP is even more likely. I would love to rack up trophies since I don't own a PS3 and I know they are exactly the same as xbox 360's achievement system. So what are your opinions? I think this is a must since I think Microsoft might be putting their achievement system on their Windows Phone 7 and who knows, maybe Nintendo might be doing their own achievement/trophy like system for the 3DS.

SADLY PSLifestlye changed their PSP trophies story saying it was remote play via PS3. (Sighs) hopefully we'll get trophies on PSP someday.

i really dont get the whole trophy/achievements thing... i just dont give a flying %^&*. i would rather see the time and effort put into something useful, like a better browser, more online support or better game selection on psn. i mean who cares if  joe nobody from ^&*nowhere spent 2000 hours playing a game? does that kind of krap really mean anything or improve your gameplay/game experience? i just dont get it...

Good point, I'll admit there's a good and bad to the achievement/trophy system, The good is that it makes a game last longer, even a little, but the bad depending on ur view towards games, is that there's less of a chance of going back playing the game, even for fun once u got all the achievements it seems 'boring' the game. So this whole system pretty much ruined our whole way of viewing games. Any thoughts from anyone?

I remember I used to have my own set of achievements when I played the original Tomb Raider games on the PS1 back in the 90's. I used to beat levels as quickly as possible and/or go through it WITHOUT healing. Also here's a bit of an achievement for those of u that played Tomb Raider 3. In the 2nd India level, I beat the level WITHOUT using any save crystals, and another time without healing, it was tough to do so, since it was a long level with tons of traps.

I just bought Little Big Planet with my new psp and on the back it says... "Playstation network. Leaderboards, add on content, playstation home and trophies." I'm confused.

well i dont really care about trophies even though i have 7 platinums lol but PSP friends list on the GO MUST happen if it cant be done on the current psp then it must be a feature on the next
