What PS1 games should be on PSN?

19 replies 6 views Edited Jan 17, 2009
I'd love to see Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Dino Crisis (that was the first M-rated game I ever played), Klonoa (a fun platformer), Spyro 2 and 3, Tenchu, and Um Jammer Lammy on there.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Metal Gear Rising are going to be awesome!

CTR EU gets it, why can't US? I'd buy it in a heartbeat. My brother has it at college, I'd like my own, to play on PS3 and PSP.

There are lots of PS1 games that need to be on the North American PSN. You are really wasting your time making these threads over and over and over and over and over again.

Odd world titles please.

@ Jutt86
Let people waste their time. Sure threads exist but no ones gonna search out an old thread from months ago because no ones gonna post responses on it.

Am I missing something? is the PS Forums differant from every other forum I have ever posted in?

I've seen these threads pop up and I've read comments that deals are being done to bring them to us. The deal is some of the best games from the PSX era weren't Sony-direct releases and they have to get the rights first.

That said... these are the games current on the Japanese PSN store I'd want:

Armored Core: Master of the Arena (online play and/or downloadable copy for a friend to play please!)

Crash Team Racing

Metal Gear Solid

Resident Evil: Director's Cut

Resident Evil 2

Resident Evil 3

Dino Crisis

Einhander

R-Type Delta

Front Mission 2

Others I'd like:

Armored Core (original)

Dino Crisis 2

Parasite Eve

Parasite Eve 2

Silent Hill

Front Mission 3

Pocket Fighter

Others I think we'll never see:

Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 9 (because Square-Enix can make too much money out of remakes and or direct ports for full price lol)

Current Favorites: City of Heroes Going Rogue, Champions Online, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Borderlands and Phantasy Star Portable.
Current Wishes: More quality Minis at 2.99 price points.
Current disappointment: No quality sci-fi fps on the PSP (Coded Arms is merely average, here's hoping N.O.V.A. passes the time. Star Wars:smileyvery-happy:ark Forces is a chore to play on the PSP!)
