I was on the PSN store, when I noticed they are now making PS2 classics. I didn't see a whole lot of games, but it raises a question for me: Does this mean they might remake Final Fantasy 12? It's one of my all time favorites. I would LOVE to play a PS3 remake with trophies.

FFXII as a PS2 classic might happen, but I think it will get the full HD remaster treatment eventually. Square Enix has already announced that they are remastering FFX for the PS3 and Vita next year, if that does well FFXII may very well be next. 

BTW PS2 Classics in the PSN store are straight ports of the PS2 originals, like the PS1 Classics they would not have trophy support...

With or without trophies, it would still be a blast playing it on the PS3 (Mine does not play PS2 discs). I knew about FF10, that's what really made me ask if FFXII could be next. I'm really looking forward to what those people up at Square Enix come up with. I'll be dissapointed if FFVII doesn't get re-released.

And I agree, it'll probably get the whole HD remastering done. All the more reason to get it if it's released on the PSN.

I'm pretty sure you mean FFXII or FF12, the PS2 game, but you keep saying FFVII which is FF7, the PS1 game (and out on PSN).  It is even in your title.  I'd suggest you fix your title so people know what you're trying to say ("edit discussion" is on the right side of the page, edit posts below the post).

You can have ff. But I WOULD ALWAYS BUY PSN STUFF IF NFL STREET 1 OR 2 WAS RELEASED FOR THE PS STORE OMFG THAT WOULD LITERALLY BE A DREAM COME TRUE. I've been wishing for this since Sony first introduced the PS2 Classics. I hope SquareEnix and Sony can grace us with Final Fantasy XII. My favorite FF title of all time.

Considering that FFX will be coming to PS3 and Vita, I think it's just a matter of time for them to re-do this one.

IMO the games you mentioned would never be remastered or made into a digital release mainly because the older sports games have a limited lifespan...

They should do the international zodiac job system version in English on the PS3 if they remade it. No damage limit, job classes and extra hunts/bosses? Yes please.

They should add in Killzone to the ps2 classics.
