Namco promises more PS1 games for PSP/PS3 in 2010

2 replies 11 views Edited Dec 23, 2009

It looks like Namco-Bandai is going to put a strong emphasis on putting their classic titles on downloadable services next year, with more PS1 games promised for PSP/PS3.

According to Kotaku, a recent announcement made by Namco Bandai seems to indicate that the publisher will focus on releasing many of their properties digitally in 2010, like PS1 classics for the PSP and PS3. With the company meager current PS1-on-PSP slate (only Tekken 2 and Mr. Driller have been released on PSN), we hope to see a lot more of Namco Bandai's 32-bit classics on Sony's Portable, including Air Combat, Soul Blade, Tekken 3 and yes, the still absent Riiiidge Racer.

What Namco classics would you like to see on the playstation network?

Glad to see we'll be getting Tekken 1/3 among other titles for PS1/PSP.
