I didn't add Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9, because they, as of now, aren't in danger of being forgotten. Mostly because of the various rumors of an FF7 remake and the resulting suspition of FF8 and FF9 remakes.
However I agree... The Digimon World games are definately worth saving. ^_^

Ughh The Saga Frontier games need to stay dead. Those games sucked! Even the PS2 SaGa games were horrible.
You should add games like Xenogears, Vagrant Story, DQVII... there are many others.
I picked up one SaGa game, and took it back not long after buying it. I did give it a fair shake though.
Xenogears is availabe on the JP PSN.
There was a brief rumor last year about a Vagrant Story remake for the PSP from a 1up interview. Haven't heard anything on the topic since then.
Dragon Quest VII, Breath of Fire IV, Azure Dreams, Alundra, Alundra 2, Legend of Legaia, Legend of Legaia II, Suikoden, Suikoden II (allegedly both Suikodens might be released here as they had recent ERSB PSN ratings) and of course, many others too.

Thank you for posting it again in the black and grey. Much better! I can actually read it now
Anyway as I was doing research into PS1 games since I never had one and was wanting to track down some of the better games, I came across so many gems. Its a crime that they are not on the PSN. Someone already mentioned Tomba. There are a number of others that are rare like Tomba is, and should not be forgotten.
I think Sony should be actively trying to get publishers of PS1 games to put them up on the PSN. Klonoas door to Phantomile is another one.
And of course there are a few Atlus games that would be awesome. The persona games. And Atlus did do a couple of platformers I think for the PS1.
It is frustrating because Sony has a perfect launching ground, and is just not using it for classic games. The selection of PS1 games is pathetic right now

Yeah... I realized it was hard to read only after I posted it... o.o
And so, because I strive for perfection, here's that list again in a less blinding font color. (And with a few new additions, too. ^_^
actually, i can still barely read your post thanks to the combination of font and everything being italicized. worse than all caps, really. might also be because i'm on a widescreen monitor? not sure. but yea, pretty harsh on the eyes.
