Glad to know its being worked on. Naturally, Sony support told me to restore the file system, which ended up causing an error or some such that left me with no option but to format in order to boot up the system again.
So many games to re-download. So many lost saves

I did purchase InFamous 2 on PSN on its release date, no error while installing, the game run smoothly so the problem of L.A Noire (main game data) must be something else not our PS3 or our internet connection. Plus the DLC included in this L.A bundle just installed without any error popped up then I'm pretty sure the main game data pack itself was corrupted from the sever, redownloading it is just a waste of time. I won't re-download it again until they know how to get it work...properly

Is there an estimated fix time? Do you guys (Sony) know what the issue is? I understand you want us to stay on this thread but, you haven't made any updates or even let us know what this issue is. We appreciate your help but, we are kind of in the dark here.

It's the holiday weekend. I bet not much at all will be done anytime soon. But I hope I'm wrong.

Please add my name to the list of people having issues.
I looked at the info on the Rockstar site, followed their steps to no avail and have an open support ticket with them.
1. PS3 has sufficient available space on the hard drive
2. PS3 is directly connected using a wired connection
3. Firmware is completely up to date.
4. File System Repair and Database Rebuild was completed
I downloaded directly in the foreground from the PSN store, it completed 100% and still failed on installation. Hopefully there's a chance for a timely fix otherwise I'll opt to pursue a refund. I've attempted the download and install a total of 4 times so far which is frustrating because that's used just over 20% of my available bandwidth through Comcast in a matter of a day trying to install the game.

To those that are affected by this issue; has anyone tried downloading it via a wired connection? There may be issues with downloading a large file over a wireless connection. Let me know if anyone has tried this already and is still encountering the download error.

Ahh ok, nevermind it seems some are setting up wired connections and are having the same issue. The teams are continuing to look into it.
