Jet Set Radio Coming This Summer

4 replies 29 views Edited Jun 5, 2012

The game takes elements of stunt-based extreme sports titles (especially the Tony Hawk series), adds an emphasis on platforming, and tops the whole thing with a graffiti tagging mechanic — which is how protagonists Beat, Gum, and the rest of the GGs liberate Tokyo-to from the “overbearing, corporate-controlled police force” that controls it.

Here's the trailer for the original game:

^I remember playing this on Dreamcast. Really good game. I am looking forward to see how this will turn out.

It's not something I'm interested in, for a start the music was driving me nuts!, but I'm sure others will be.

I am stoked about the game coming out. More so now that they announced that it will be on the Vita!

it’ll be available to download on September 18. However, if you’re a PlayStation Plus member, you’ll receive early access to Jet Set Radio on September 11. Either way, the game will set you back $9.99.
