Phenom I'll play Devil's Advocate here
It's great to see continued feedback and discussion in this thread. The team are aware of your feedback on this and have been looking to make various changes and improvements to ensure that competition across all areas of the game is as evenly balanced and fair as possible. Among other things, the first update to the game will change the player break so that it becomes a random decision (rather than being based on who instigates the challenge or sets the stake amount) - the recent suggestions for how this could be improved further (such as the coin-flip or lag-shot ideas put forward in this thread) are being taken on board and will be considered for future updates too, along with any other suggestions you may have for how this aspect of the game could be improved.
In the mean-time, if you are finding that some lobbies are too competitive or that high-rollers are throwing their HKCredits around, there are some steps you can take to reduce the impact that this is having on your enjoyment of the game:
Play in (or set-up) Hustle lobbies with stake limits. Will not be easy to get people to come here? There only seems to be one major room with a fair amount of people when I login(North meets South)
Play in (or set-up) game lobbies with shorter (or without) aiming lines. One who buys Red Chalk will get pass this easy.
Hopefully, in a future update there be an option to disable Premium Chalk Use?
Play in Quick Match events or at casual tables. This seems like a really good option...
From a lobby, arrange to play a set number of consecutive matches with other players (and to rotate the break eachmatch).I hope in the next update there will be options to do this? Instead of a handshake agreement?
Please feel free to add your suggestions to the list above (and also to contribute your thoughts on how this may be improved in the game in further updates) in this thread.
Again much appreciated Phenom!
