Re: Battlefield 1943 Tips & Hints

Find a tall hill with a bush, stay in the bush and snipe, after a few shots hide on the side of the hill a bit till the heat is off then resume the head popping.

Or find someone that can drive the tank well and double team with the machine gun, good tank drivers are hard to find but this one time i was a slaughterhouse on treads.

reload often, spank it often, smoke it often, not necessarily in that order

Re: Battlefield 1943 Tips & Hints

having your gun reloaded isnt a tip or a hint, its common sense, the only people that will help is people new to gaming (not to this game, but to all games in general) EVERYBODY knows to reload

TIP:

while its fun to kill people and get a high kill count, the focus should be winning the match and getting the flag to your faction or covering people who are doing that.

Yo dawg I heard you liked quantum mechanics so I didn't do anything, and I did something at the same time.

Re: Battlefield 1943 Tips & Hints

  • Always keep your M1 Garand reloaded. Always.
  • If you're shooting at a moving target, shoot ahead of them, in other words, lead your shots.
  • Don't fly planes if you don't know how. Learn in the tutorial first.
  • Don't camp at the home base and wait for planes to spawn. Helping your team is more important than flying around which doesn't help your team that much in capturing flags and getting kills.
  • Infantry class - Shoot your gun in bursts. Don't shoot at people that are far away, you won't do them much damage, and they will most likely run away. Your gun isn't meant for long range.
  • Scouts - Put charges on the main roads around the middle flag (or whichever flag has the air strip) and pick a good spot and wait. A tank is sure to roll by.
  • Scouts - Go for headshots. If not, shoot someone once, whip out your pistol and fire away.
  • Pilots - Best way to take down another pilot is if you switch to c0ckpit view. Always aim ahead of the opposing pilot.
  • Pilots - If the enemy team launches air raids, quickly take them out. You can take out at least 2 of them before they drop bombs.
  • When you're approaching a flag, toss grenades around the flag just in case if someone is there.

Listen to this guy folks. DON'T USE THE SNIPER RIFLE!!!! IT'S HORRIBLE!!!!

And, while you're listening to that advice... I'll be sending a bullet through your brain-pan via sniper rifle. I have about 60 kills in only a couple hours of play time... and that's including dinking around for awhile flying planes, blowing myself up with explosives, stealing flags, driving vehicles and god knows what else.

Exactly. The sniper rifle is in no way useless. I have about 400 some kills using just the sniper rifle. It just has a learning curve, do to the game's bullet travel time.

Once you get it down, however, you'll be timing up headshots from across maps, pissing everyone off.

No school is old school, fellas.

Re: Battlefield 1943 Tips & Hints

Sniper is Amazing, On wake island i went from my carrier to a tower on the air feild and headshotted the guy That was

sniping my teamates

Tips:

-At the beggining of the game, If your in a plane head to the furthest flag and parachute to it...Dont waste a plane for

a fight that takes 30 seconds to start

-Never sit in the same place for to long, Never know what sniper is lining up the shot.

-Never take on a tank from far away, There blind spot is up close...Remember this. (Mostly for Scouts)

-Before running in Crazily to claim a flag...Check the ground, Too many have died Recklassly from C4

-When the game starts, Head for a boat and make sure you have 2 Mags with you...Then head towards the other battleship

and Pirate away.
