Will "Resistance Burning Skies" include cross platform game play?

While I have already played all the other Resistance games, I know of some interested in Burning Skies who haven't. Is it necessary to play the other Resistance games in order to fully understand the events and characters of Burning Skies? Or can it be played almost like a standalone title?

1) Im really excited for the game and I cant wait for the launch ! but In the online mode, how many game modes will there be and how many players can there be in the match. ( Depending on the game mode )

2) And how many hours of story mode gameplay are you promising ?

Does the game have any type of co-op? I loved the 8 player co-op in Resistance 2.

I read on the blog that you can unlock weapons as you complete the story, does this mean that unlocks acquired in one mode can be used flawlessly with another mode?

1 - How many hours we will have of single player campaign?

2 - We will see some known character of passive Resistance games?

Question 1: Will the game make any reference to Nathan Hale or the rest of SRPA?

Question 2: Will the game include a weapon wheel like Fall of Man and 3? or just a 2 weapon selecting like Resistance 2?
