8 replies 6 views Edited Jan 7, 2007
Ive been lookin on the circuity city website for a new HDTV and I found two reasonaby priced for their size.  They are both 27 inches but one is a flat panel and one is slim tube.

Which one would be the best choice out of those or should I keep looking?

Both look great, I have the Samsung Slimfit *another model* and it;s great the only downside you might suffer over scan(which I was able to fix),but if you don't want that I would get the LCD. That's just my opnion.

I would go with the lcd, your back will thank you when you are setting it up, my 40" 1080p weighs about 50 pounds, my 30" tube hdtv weighs about 140.

Consoles: 2 ps2 (jp/usa) 2 360 (jp/usa) ps3, psp (white), 2 DS(black/lite) 2 wii (jp/usa), a gaming laptop, and a nice gaming computer.
If it comes out, I can probably play it.

There is really no reason to get the tube style if the lcd is just as cheap IMO.
