This is pretty much my only interest in PC gaming, aside from some space-themed stuff that doesn't happen to be a FPS. RTS are really my only interest genre-wise in PC gaming and the KB&M (which the PS3 supports) works well with it but for other genres, I find the controller to be my go-to setup maybe because I've been using them since I was about 4-5 and have been attached to console gaming since then. I do like some of the stuff I see with Mods and such but the genre limitation on my part really brings my interest down.
For the RTS games. That's about it. So, I have three PC games.
Controls is much better than any consoles especially for playing FPS and RTS games.
You can communicate them easily with the use of our keyboards.

You can get all of the Xbox 360 exclusives without actually having to get a 360. Better graphics (with a decent graphics card), Mods, Keyboard/Mouse, just to name a few advantages. Personally i have no issue with space, my PC is right next my PS3 and they both use the same sound system (TV is too big to use as a monitor).
depends. if you have a good computer, you can play most games you can play on the consoles. if you do not (cough, cough. thats me. i have a really old computer) then stick with consoles.
another good thing about PC games is that you can mod them. I play a game called trackmania united with the forever expansion (few year old game) and there are so many sites with mods (you can use mods to change the look of tracks you build in-game), cars (different cars just use different 3d models. they all run the same) and stuff.
but it all depends on the hardware you own.
What great about it (to me) is that you can get games for sale on Steam for much lower. Also, I'm able to play Mass Effect 1 & 2 and Portal (and it was free).
if you like portal and online based gaming, you shoud get team fortress 2 from steam. you can download TONS of mods from there.
the only good thing i can think of is keyboard and mouse. other than that updates and mods take forever to download and you actually have to read the instruction manuals on pc games which sucks. also most people's computers are tucked away into cramped spaces so that it is very uncomfortable to game in. also frame rates tend to be very inconsistent on pc so your aim could possibly suffer.
1) Yes Keyboard/Mouse is amazing.
2) Updates are seldom and are very much worth the wait. I would rather update every hour than not have enough updates.
3) Who reads instruction manuals?
4) A PC-gamer's computer is not in a cramped place.
5) A PC-gamer's framerates would be much higher than a console. My FPS averages around 80 on better quality than a console has.
Why is it better?
1) More accurate controls.
2) More buttons.
3) More people.
4) BETTER people. A more mature audience where most everyone has microphones.
5) A modding community on almost all games.
6) Better Quality games.
7) Typing talk is convient.
8) Better chatting with friends/buddies.
lots of stuff.
