I was going to say that his idea was a bit more suited for New Years than Christmas, yes.

Although I do think a Christmas themed firework display would be pretty sick. What's funny is, the couple firework stores I have liked on Facebook have been marketing Christmas displays all month.

I have a box of 60 gram reaper shells in the garage left over from the 4th of July and might pick up a few repeaters to celebrate 2014.

I've been blowing up fireworks for years and thankfully as of last year, fireworks are now legal in my state. With a 12% tax of course. Mainly because everybody had the good fireworks anyway and Ohio and Indiana were getting all our money instead.
