relationships and video games

24 replies 129 views Edited Jun 30, 2013
Hey everyone, ok so today's question is, how do video games affect your relationship. I have been married for about 4 months now and me and my wife met on PlayStation home and often still play it together, when I'm not getting m10 errors lol. Sometimes drama on PlayStation home makes us disagree but not much, we also play black ops 2 together with mutual friends. Anyways all in all in my opinion if you have a good balance between personal time and doing things together, then its just a matter of compromising on what to play because we both are gamers, but I know some of us don't have gamer girlfriends or boyfriends, how does it affect things and other gamer couples how do you balance your relationship Smiley Happy let's keep this thread on topic everyone and keep it going Smiley Happy

I treat video games just like any other recreational activity. And as such, as long as they don't get in the way of a healthy relationship, there are no problems. Although personally I only play video games when I have 'down time'. It's not something I necessary schedule or crave for each day, thus I usually don't have issues with them interfering my social life.

That is on topic. You're in a relationship with your wife and you met in a game. Are you married in the real world too or just in Home?
