Re: relationships and video games

Jul 1, 2013

I was upfront with the wife before we started dating that I am a gamer and always will be. At first she thought I was a dork and that gaming was a waste of time and money. Obviously she wasn't a gamer at all. Flash forward to the present day, she still thinks I'm a dork and that gaming is a waste of time and money, but she loves watching Netflix on the ps3.

Haha yes a lot of women can be like that, atleast your gaming doesn't cause any problems, apparently call of duty is a big problem caused in some relationships lol

I wouldn't say it doesn't cause problems ( always get the inevitable " why'd you buy another game when you have 20 already " comment when I buy a new game ) but I prioritize so gaming is pretty much the last thing I do every night.

Haha I usually say that to my wife about her outfits on ps home haha but yea I think depending on our ability to compromise and prioritize things games aren't really an issue
