oh no is my macbook ok need help fast

my macbook just froze when shuting down and i had to hold down the power button to shut it down and when it started up it took longer then usally and when i log in my dock was huge my apps wernt on it and there was an app cald imovie on it with a ? over it and dident do any thing. i use back up and restored it but it dident seam to do anything but all my apps were still there and my pictures under i photo
but itunes restared with none of music but i went through it and it found all of my music i had before but not my movies
so is my macbook ok it seems like everythings back to normal but i cant find my videos
so has this happen to anyone ealse before , is my macbook ok ,and were can i find my movies .

yes the mac book pro we use in  our class has frozen many times, it really is annoying. imovie has crashed a few times, and SAfari thing crashed to, o and itunes did to..grrrrrrr

Do macbooks have the xyz sensors? Or is it just the pros? Maybe you shaked it or something.....
