Not exactly. More activity = more respect. Seniority over post count.

Yeah.

It sounds like I can re-register, post 50 out of this world posts and have more respect than anyone.

Yep.

In reply to a few peoples' posts regarding join date:

There are people who joined a while ago, forgot about this place (or maybe got banned?) then came back.  Their register date could say 1-1-2002, have 100 posts, but they have only really been around for a month.

Join date can be important, but there are other factors to look at too.

I think the best thing to judge how much respect to give is based on their general post quality.

Nope... no matter if you have 100000 posts and been here for 6 years, if you don't like the ps3 100% then you are an "M$ troll"

No, I think the people that are the most mature, the ones that treat everyone with respect, and the ones that always post informative and interesting topics are the ones with the most respect.

Nah, not really. I do not judge people by post count. I judge them by quality of their posts.

However, I do find that people with a higher post count are either

a) complete morons and spammers
b) experienced and smart members of the boards

I do not determine which is the poster until I've seen a few of the person's posts .

Hmmmm, what about grammar and punctuation and spelling, look at my first posts.
I don't quite get it why people are much older than me and they can't even type right.
I am freaki'n 13, i just turned 13, and i can type much better than people that are 18 here.
Wow, just wow.
