Posts, not the number, but what is contained in them is what makes respect in forums

I look at join date as well as post count. Like I feel someone who joined in 06' has less seniority then someone who joined in 05' down, even if they have already reached their 1 year mark. Also post count. No specific numbers or anything. Higher posts means they spend more time here.

but i mean sometimes when i see a noob say something he will get flammed or put down but with somone with higher post sayign the same thing ppl will change sometimes

I don't recall ever seeing that before...

you shouldve looked at the psp general like a year ago, a noob wouldnt dare to go in there, good thing that has changed...

i think post count doesnt get you any respect, its how you act with other people on the forum that gets you respect, like i know some people with 10k and i dont like them at all. if you start out from the begging helping and respecting people, a lot of people will like you

It seems like new people do more than people who have been here for 1+ years.

Not necessarily. It depends on what they put into a post and how good it is. On here you'll get respect by not spamming  and having well though out replies and or threads. And by just having fun and being yourself. Smiley Tongue
