Nerds are people with really thick glasses and they sit around the library all day.
Geeks are the ones who don't play video games.

^According to Dictionary.com
Geek-
1. a carnival performer who performs sensationally morbid or disgusting acts, as biting off the head of a live chicken. 2. a peculiar or offensive person, esp. one who is perceived to be overly intellectual. 3. an expert in computers (a term of pride as self-reference, but often considered offensive when used by outsiders.)
Nerd-
1. a stupid, irritating, ineffectual, or unattractive person. 2. an intelligent but single-minded person obsessed with a nonsocial hobby or pursuit
Thats the general way people would think.

I think that being a nerd is defined as having poor social skills. While there may even be a little bit of a correlation, I don't think that you can presume anything. I consider myself a bit of a geek because I game and usually know what I'm talking about with it, but since I'm fairly popular and crap, it's not a big deal. I'm perfectly "normal".

Yeah. It's something everybody can relate to. Tons of people at my school are gamers. In fact, it's hard to find many who aren't. Even the girls like video games. Nerds can be gamers too, but not every gamer is a nerd.
