  1. You need a cell phone, and are going to end up paying $300+
  2. You need an MP3 player and were going to get the 8GB Nano

Good god a cell phone for $300+? My mom dad brother and me have cell phones that TOGETHER total about $300 and thats with cameras and text messaging.

That's with a contract. Try to find a GOOD cell phone without contract for less than $400

Exactly... I wanted an LGVX8300 but then I found out it was $300, then i said "NO thanks." No way am I paying $300 for a phone that I am then stuck with one provider. We may swtich and start a contract with another company... if we do I am hoping it is Sprint, good service, AND they have the Katana.

If they properly mesh the two ideas of current gen ipods, with a phone, then it just might be a great phone. I mean, I've already heard about the double batteries, and things of that nature, but if they make you able to use your songs as ringtones, they just might have a good concept going.

Oh God! You're not gonna buy an iPhone?! Call Apple and alert them at once! They should just scrap the whole phone idea then. *end sarcasm*
World doesn't revolve around you. You don't want the iPhone, then don't get it.

Well if your that **bleep** about having to hear every high and low in a persons voice for the 5 minutes your on the phone then by all means. But to anyone else its not worth the extra money because we dont sit there and talk on it for hours. 5 minutes here and 5 minutes there. As long as i can tell who they are and make out what they are saying then its fine.

Last I heard, all major carriers. Or just one carrier, Apple, that is if they go that route.
