hidden files

i recently had to restore my hard on my laptop, and now i am trying to delete all the back up file.  in some folders that are about 3 GB, it shows no files, but at the bottom ist says 0 files (37 hidden)  is there anyway i can unhide them?

got to top tools options and unlcik hide files something like that

Press cTRL A in the folder and it will say something about control panels then do that

press ctrl+alt+delete it shows all the hiden files and then highlight the file u want to close and click end task
 
also try defragmenting found in start menu/accesories/systemtools
