That. Book. Sucked.

But maybe it's because I know about the Holocaust front to back already (my 8th grade English teacher was a Jew fanatic)

ok like said before, Ellie Weisel is a young kid who is about to eb invaded by the Germans. he was religious and preyed everyday, and he cried when he prayed. the Nazis came and put them all in ghettos, then sent them to death camps. when they were sent to the death camps, Ellie was seperated form his mom and sisters, but stayed with his dad. he lied about his age so he wouldn't be  killed or taken from his father. he saw little babies and kids and women being thrown in fires, and before they mentioned how babies were thrown into the air and was used as targets by the SS. umm, yeah so it's just his feelings of what was happening. i'm not sure exactly what the first four chapters were about....
