you may drive better but europeans got more taste for cars: germany=porsche bmw mercedes, italy=ferarie lamborghini, england=noble and many other countries with very nice cars

They can drink at a young age. We can drive at a young age. We both have our advantages.
 
Besides, driving is a big part of this country. Many people drive maybe a half hour or more to get to work everyday on average. Public transportation and such is higher in Europe I do believe. And Ive only ridden on a bus in my life a few times to get to school. We rely more on cars.

Japan and Australia also drive on the left. A few others probably do as well.

When you're 16 (at least in NJ) you can only drive with a person over 21 who has had their liscense for over three years, and you can only drive with one person outside of your immediate family.  So basically you're stuck driving with your parent/guardian.  It's very little fun.  At 17 you get a restricted liscense, and at 18 you get a full liscense.  But there's not real reason for it I guess.
