And has only been here since 2006.

I have high hopes for all new posters.  Unfortunately, most just come to ask their question or make their complaint and then move on.  When someone makes more than ~10 posts, I think they'll stick around and, depending on those posts, it could be a good thing Smiley Wink.

Cynicism isn't at all helpful, either. If you don't like the thread you could simply not post in it instead of making "spam" replies.

I'm going to assume that's directed at me. If not I apologize.

First if you feel it's "spam" report it.

Second who says it was cynicism? I do have high hopes for them. I hope they come back from their ban and decide to become productive members instead of continuing they way they started. In short I hope they learned their lesson.

Don't those hopes fit into the theme of this thread?

Well said. I agree with your OP though, too many kids come on here and spam threads that have no discussion value.

Sadly, this is the case with a lot of new ones. They sign up, post one thread asking for help and maybe reply to it a few times and then that's that. Other side of the coin is the spam/trouble makers who crash and burn doing 200 into a railing.

That's true, also don't forget the people who only make a new account to cause trouble, I see that on the fourms a good bit. At least we have gotten some new users that seem promising.

Who are you calling peasants? I don't know about you but we are all bosses here, not peasants.
