First off, congrats on the new job!

My mother worked at a Taco bell part time while I was in the military.  Something to keep her busy during retirement.

She said that cleanliness was always paramount at their store, and that the hardest thing for her was to remember the makeup of every variation of food item.  So expect some degree of memorization, and lots of free tacos. Smiley Happy

What position are you, management, cook, cashier?

EDIT:  I see now.    Just show up and work the whole time you are there and your boss will love you Smiley Wink.

I work at Jack In The Box but I'm sure the duties of both fast-food restaurants don't differ much from each other. You can be expected to always be doing something, even if there are no customers available to serve. Such tasks include cleaning, restocking, and preparing pre-made foods.

Hope all goes well at your job, my friend! :]

I worked in one for awhile. It was fast-paced and it was a decent job. The worst part is cleaning bathrooms (Taco Bell food + restroom=terrible toilets). And maybe working the drive-thru. That is a little rough since the menu is so large and it is not always super clear.

But since you are new, they will probably have you cleaning tables and maybe working the registers.
