For those of you who watch Doctor Who, who is your favorite Doctor (time lord) in the series?

No contest here.

For me, Tom Baker is the quintessential Doctor Who.

She was an "Aunt Sally", a fairground doll if you will, the type that you used to throw things at to win dumb prizes, her real name was Una Stubbs, a very well know British actress.

I loved Black Adder, the young ones too were very good.

Ah, that was it.

Rowan Atkinson was hilareous.  Never was much of a Bean fan.  I like some verbal to my comedy, not much into the Marso Marso element.

Also got into Ab Fab a little.

Young Ones was definately my fav though.

Tom Baker was my absolute fav as well!:smileyhappy:

They may not have had the wicked special effects they do now, back in the 70's and 80's,

but the storylines, exceptional writing, suspense and humour all made up for what the BBC

couldn't afford for great SE.

Genesis of the Daleks, Pyramids of Mars, The City of Death, Talons of  Weng Chiang,

The Invisible enemy and the Deadly Assassin just some of Tom's best stories.

Have to list Jon Pertwee as my second favorite. Patrick Troughton, third.

I only recently (about a year ago) started watching the series and have only watched the new ones, since Christopher Eccleston.  So I don't have much to compare it to, but David Tennant was my favorite of these.  Not that I dislike the others though.  I would've liked to see more of Eccleston and while I didn't think I'd like him at first, I also really like Matt Smith.  Before I started watching it, I always thought of the Doctor as either David Tennant or Tom Baker, so I guess it's no surprise that those seem to be the general favorites.

JERM, I tried to PM you yesterday but couldn't because of the double-name thing, any way around this or is it just easier to Pm you on the PS3?
