Yet another 360 question

8 replies 1 views Edited Dec 26, 2006
My TV does not have any cable inputs (red, white, yellow). TV is not HD.
So i gotta connect the cables to my VCR, but it only has White & Yellow inputs. No Red.
Is that ok? Whats the red good for?

Also, the charge&play thing, how do you charge it up??

You dont need red, thats just audio related.  You will be able to play and have sound just fine.

You plug the play n charge kit into the X360 USB port and clip the other end into the top of the controller.  Red means its charging and green means it charged.

The red connection is only for surround sound. As for the charge and play thingy, you just plug it into your wireless controller while your xbox is turned on and it will charge the rechargable battery pack that comes with it. Or you could plug it into your PC if your xbox isnt on and charge it that way. It uses a USB connection.

Yeah, the red and white are the ones for audio...they each work in each others port.

I pluged it in, and it flashed green for half a second. then no color.
I played it plugged in all day yesterday, does that means its already charged.

No. An optical cable is for surround. red and white is for left and right stereo. If only the white plugs in, the audio will be mono.
