Re: Xbox 360 Price Drop

Nov 15, 2006
They better drop them prices. If they don't, it won't look good for them. If I were SONY :

$300 : Defualt Package.

$500 or $450 : Full Package.

SONY did go over board for the prices.

i just have the feeling after a few months at those prices, they will take off $100 of the PS3. They will sell for a while, but after a few months everyone who had the money will already have their PS3, and noone else will have the money to buy one, so the sales will probably decline fast over a few months, until they make it less expensive.

you wish.
i dont care about a price drop i care about if they have free live or not
i'm prefectly ok with paying for live.....20 for 3 months seems perfectly reasonable to me seeing as what it offers..
but it would be nice

no it won't...

The reason it's not going to drop... it's already cheaper then the competition.

exactky, why would the drop it when they dont even have to?

Is anyone else wondering why Microsoft doesn't decide to drop the price of their 360 just before the PS3 is released? It would almost make sense cause I'd definitely by a 360 if it was just a little cheaper/less expensive. The only reason why I can think why they wouldn't is because they're already loosing money on it. Anyone else?

It is. It's already $300 bucks cheaper. How cheap do you have to get? And they aren't gonna lower the price. It hasn't even been out for a year. It might be next christmas...

Their costs just went up. Don't expect a price drop for a looong while.
