Windows Update?

4 replies 6 views Edited Jan 13, 2007
O.K Everyone I have a problem. I have windows update on my computer, (Windows 2000), and everytime I turn my computer on, it sais in the bottom right of the screen by the time, "There is a new update for Windows 2000. Click here to install". But I really need to know how to stop windows update. Because whenever I go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs  there is about 30-40 Windows Update Hotfix - (some code) and everyday there's more and more. And I need to know how to stop it! Please help me if you know! Thanks.
