You might as well get an ipod if you're going off people's suggestions, because that's what everyone's going to say here .

The MicroPhoto is a reliable and inexpensive player for what it costs, but the screen is an OLED screen and can't be seen outside. It's very dim. I don't mind iPods, but I've had bad experiences with them in the sense that they have been unreliable. I've never tried the Gigabeat, so I can't tell you anything about it. If you want a reliable, inexpensive player, go with the MicroPhoto. If you want the 30GB capacity and don't mind taking the risk, go with an iPod. Personally, I LOVE my Creative Zen Vision W, but that isn't on what you're looking at.

Nice advice, thanks. What about the Zune, though?

As many of you already know, I had my 2G iPod nano 4GB stolen last week, and now I am in the market for a new one. I was looking at iPod Video-like harddrive based mp3 players and these are what I am looking at right now:

Creative Micro Photo 8GB

Apple iPod Video 30GB

Toshiba Gigabeat 30GB

So throw me some suggestions or PM me if you like.

As many of you have suggested, I am now considering the Zune:
It was this video that did it, pretty cool stuffSmiley Happy
