Working in human resources sounds like a good job. You get to help people out. Sounds similar to a community manger if you ask me.

If only.  Unfortunately, the Human Resources facet was "dumped" on me.  It is mostly dealing with Insurance Coverage, New Hire Integration and Tax issues.

I do not have to get heavily involved in Personal issues, thankfully.  Still; occasionally, I have to deal with the write ups and disciplinary matters.  Those are never fun.

It is a job, and another egg in my basket though.  Should I ever have to find another job.  Hopefully not.  I love where I work.  If I get all my work done, no one questions why I am on here all work day.Smiley LOL

I used to be an operations manager for the TJX companies.....basically I was the HR guy for a district.

HR is not an easy job, you have to balance between pissing off the employee or pissing off the employeer most times and usually the only time employees come to you is when there is a problem, they never come to tell you how awesome the job is going Smiley Wink.

I'm a Senior auditor at a public accounting firm. Great job security, decent pay and good people are about the only nice things I can say about it.

You are crazy sir!  I took up to Federal Taxation II, and Tax memos, Case Studies and Precendeces were enough to make me decide not to be a CPA or Auditor.

I commend you on your accomplishments though.Smiley Happy
