What do I need for this?

2 replies 2 views Edited Nov 24, 2006
Well I've been very tempted to buy an HDTV for my Xbox 360 and future PS3 because right now I have just a Phillips 40" SDTV.  It's nice, the image is pretty good...but after seeing it on an equivalent size LCD set I really want high def now.

However, since I lack the funding for an HDTV I'll have to settle for something similar, I want to run my Xbox through my PC display.  What kind of cables do I need to do it?
Maximum resolution on my computer to my monitor is 2048 x 1536 and it's a Gateway EV910 CRT monitor.

Second question: If that fails, could I run the 360's video through my Laptop monitor instead?

Tried Google, didn't get the results I require.
