What are you eating/have ate for Thanksgiving?

12 replies 114 views Edited Dec 1, 2013

What's your main meal for Thanksgiving?

Is it a plain piece of turkey, corn on a cob, collard greens, cranberry sauce, and ham? Or are there any other side dishes such as mash potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, cornbread, or sweet potatoes? Are you drinking something to wash the food down that's inside of you? Are you also going to have dessert after eating your meal?

What I'm eating for Thanksgiving is almost all of the foods that I mentioned above and I might eat dessert to satisfy my hunger needs, and I might wash it down with some iced tea.

Oddly enough, my family has the tradition of going out for Chinese food on Thanksgiving. My dad isnt a huge fan of turkey, so in a way I guess it works. With that said, I eat a bunch of pumpkin pie this time of year. Smiley Very Happy

This year I had some turkey, stuffing, a little cranberry sauce, some vegetables, a little bit of desert and a dish of pasta. All in all it was tasty. The only thing I've never been very fond of from the traditional selection is sweet potatoes. Smiley Indifferent

Don't mind, chicagotops. He has always been a Debbie Downer when it comes to reading his posts.

Let's enjoy the thread I made for once.

Just some turkey and sweet potato pie, the pie was gone the next day though Smiley Sad and I like to slice the turkey meat up and put it in a taco shell (not the awful hard shell).
