Buy some more Ram so that you wont have to wait for a window to open.

Thats not the only time it happens. Sometimes an error window will popup and I'm about to press enter to submit an IM or something, and instead of submitting the IM it all of a sudden says "OK" to the error message that popped up, that I didnt even have a chance to read.
Oh, and just to let you know, this isn't part of my sig.

Ok, take a glance at this scenario:

I'm typing in AIM, and then I decide I want to open Firefox. So I hit the shortcut on my keyboard to open Firefox. It might take a while to open cause I'm doing a lot of stuff on my computer, so I go back to AIM and continue typing. Then all of a sudden firefox opens and it becomes the current highlighted window (even though I have AIM set to be on top of everything). AIM was still on the top, but Firefox became the current active window. This happens all the time with other programs and whatnot too. I am trying to click stuff on a website, and then finally my other program or windows opens, and it automatically makes the newly opened window become the active one. Is there anywhere deep inside the Windows XP settings to change this? To keep the current active window to stay current, no matter what else opens (even if its a little error windows that opens)...

Thanks...and hopefully some of you know what I'm talking about, and are just as frustrated about it as I.

setting aim on top of everything only makes the buddy list stay on top as far as i know, and i think there is a setting for that, i just cant remember where i saw it
