Vista Help plz

Ok i started to install vista and after it gets to the greenloading bar at the beginging of the install a blue screen of DEATH comes up and says there has beeen a  fatal error and system is shutting down

how can i fix this

Are you installing a beta version? Are you upgrading/upgraded from XP?

Try updating your BIOS and/or loading the fail-safe defaults from BIOS.

i dont have it but i would re read teh manuel and if that dosent work call MS.. your system may be faulty

Thank God I didn't have any problems in Vista. I would been scared **bleep**less cuz I don't know jack squat about computers.

im installing from a update disk it worked fine on my friends cpu this also happened to me when i was trying to install xp full

Are you installing on a Macbook?  That's the only time I've actually seen someone get that error.  If you are, I couldn't get it to work for my friend either.

When I was installing my copy of Vista, I was told that it's extremely crucial to update my System BIOS. No clue what the hell that means but I did it anyways. I also uninstalled every program I had and defragged my PC. Did a clean install rather than an upgrade. Turned out fine.

Thats alittle much don't u think? geeze, i just installed from my install disk, dual booted, and worked fine.
