Video Card help

46 replies 1 views Edited Apr 16, 2007
I just got 50 dollars to bestbuy and i was thinking of buying a video card that beats my intercraded card by intel. Im willing to spend up to 100 dollars and im looking for a good one that will let me play games like halo, unreal torrny, and other good games. I no i wont be able to get "top of the line" but ya. Or should i wait sometime because then the video cards that are good will be cheeper? This is my computer.

maybe a little over 100. Not that much beacause this computer is new and it will be hard to explain to my parents that it needs upgrades already haha.

Go for a good geforce 7600gt. Buy it off newegg or something though, unless you have 50 dollars on a bestbuy giftcard.

Sell it to someone for 40 cash and buy a better one from Newegg. Bestbuy is overpriced usually for their products. Looking at your computer you most likely can't go beyond a 7600GS since your powersupply is weak.

They are overpriced, newegg gives you better bang for buck. I would not suggest buy from them at all.

I'm having a hard time figuring out your powersupply amount. If it's 250 or 300 then the 7600GS is cut off and you'll have to get something crappier but you can solve it easily by opening it up and telling me what it says on the powersuppy.
