Because education, parenting, and governmental laws...are directly related to what movies, TV shows, and video games we choose to play.
If nuclear war is going to kill us all I'm fine playing WHAT I WANT instead of what you tell me is good.
I don't think entertainment should be lumped in with the other stuff. Entertainment is suppose to be fun for those being entertained.
Parenting skills and the inability of governments to run their countries without dumbing everything down is NOT the fault of angry birds or plants vs. zombies nor is call of duty or any other video game or TV show to blame.
I was raised by a single mother, went to public schools, and managed to start a business based on video games in one of the worst economies since the Great Depression. Been here 2 years now and thats about a year longer than most make it.
All of that without a college degree, not on food stamps or welfare either. Imagine that hard work and no whining about it when things get tough. I don't feel bad at all.
Why do people always have to go so far off course.
Right now anyone purchasing a new retail PS3 or 360 is really screwing themself.
In 6 to 8 months the prices will drop again just ahead of the release of the NEW consoles. It's already starting to happen with the wii because of the Wii U (which so many people are underestimating) didn't we learn anything from the wii?
The new consoles have been announced for next year already?
Look for it next year at E3, PAX, or maybe even one of the European -cons.
Sony and Microsoft have been extremely tight lipped about this next generations of consoles..but I hear developers already have the specs and maybe even the consoles themselves.
So far all we have see are leaked documents but no offical announcements yet.
